A success history.

Since being founded in 2020, Fych Technologies has never stopped evolving. Two revolutionary patents in the field of complex plastics recycling, along with steady growth and the commissioning of our industrial plant, speak for themselves.

2019

IDEA

The idea to found Fych was born and between June and November the approval for the delamination and decontamination patents was requested from the SPTO.

2020

ACHIEVEMENTS

Fych achieves notable recognition, winning the “Best Startup” award from Mares Circulares and the “Innovative Business Initiatives” award at the Gala Impulso (UA).

2020

FOUNDATION

In November 2020, Fych Technologies was established as a company.

2021

PATENT GRANT

Delamination and decontamination patents granted. 

2021

MORE AWARDS

This year, Fych ranks third in Santander X Spain for Best Startup and joins Lanzadera, Juan Roig's accelerator.

2022

PILOT PLANT

In January 2022, the delamination pilot plant is installed at the Alicante University Science Park. In April, the decontamination pilot plant is established in Tarragona, in collaboration with the UA and Sorigue.

2023

PILOT AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Ongoing collaboration on pilot projects alongside key players in the plastic value chain, leading technology centers, and major public innovation agencies.

2024

BOOSTING INDUSTRIAL SCALING

Over €2M in funding from the European Innovation Council under the ReMLP project, aimed at the industrial scaling of our delamination and decontamination technologies for multilayer plastics.

2025

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION AND ENDORSEMENT

We consolidate our growth by securing over €4M in a round backed by Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) within its Plastic Circularity Strategy, in partnership with the Alliance to End Plastic Waste and EIC Fund.

2026

START OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION

Following the completion of the construction phase, we began operations at our new facilities, with a production capacity of 5,000 tons/year to kick off industrial scaling.

Our Facilities

We are located in Hondón de las Nieves (Alicante), where we have a technological and industrial complex tailored to our growth needs. We feature a fully operational industrial production and recycling plant where we put our technologies into practice on a full scale.

Next to the plant are our offices, which integrate the operations team and the process management area. In addition, we have our own laboratories and a pilot plant dedicated exclusively to research, development (R&D) and the validation of new recycling processes for complex plastics.
