Fych Technologies, chosen by the European Commission to receive funding through the European Innovation Council.
Fych Technologies among the 68 companies chosen by the European Commission to receive financing of 2 million euros.
Fych Technologies, our company based in Alicante and focused on the development of new innovative technologies for the delamination, deodorization and decontamination of recycled plastics, has been chosen along with 67 other companies by the European Commission to receive a financing of up to 2,297,531.98 euros through the European Innovation Council (EIC).
Our main objective within this EIC program is to obtain the necessary support to accelerate the commercialization of our innovative solution in the global market, in addition to consolidating our business with a defined growth plan and strategy. We have been working hard on our first pilot plant located in the Alicante Science Park (PCA), obtaining extremely promising results. However, to enter the global market, we must reach new milestones, such as improving performance at scale to increase productivity, and validating our technologies with real pilots in consolidated companies, which will represent success stories that can be exported to other companies.
Plastic CEO of Fych Technologies, Andrea Cabanes, highlighted the importance of the financing obtained, noting that “with the replicable demonstration plant, we will be able to show potential clients the value and effectiveness of our delamination, deodorization and decontamination technologies. This will not only facilitate the sale of our solutions, but will also help establish strategic collaborations that will be essential for our international expansion.”.
Likewise, Cabanes highlighted the potential of the replicable demonstration plant to show potential clients the value and effectiveness of delamination, deodorization and decontamination technology. This step will not only facilitate the sale of the solutions, but will also pave the way to establish strategic collaborations that will be essential for the company's international expansion.
Finally, Andrea Cabanes underlined the importance of institutional support for innovative startups, highlighting the support of the European Innovation Council as a recognition of the work carried out and the importance of developing sustainable solutions for the future. The company is excited by the opportunities that arise and committed to continuing to advance its mission of giving a second life to plastics and reducing environmental impact.
For his part, Esteban Pelayo, manager of the PCA, stated that the selection of Fych Technologies by the European Commission is a clear indication of the innovative potential and quality of the work carried out in the Alicante Science Park. This type of support not only boosts individual companies, but also strengthens our entire innovation ecosystem.
Pelayo added that Fych Technologies ability to develop advanced technologies that address critical problems such as plastic recycling is an example of how applied research can generate a positive impact on society and the environment. We are proud to host and support companies that are at the forefront of technology and sustainability.
Finally, he stressed the importance of collaboration and institutional support: The success of Fych Technologies it is also the success of all the entities that are part of our ecosystem. These types of achievements demonstrate the importance of collaboration between academia, industry and public institutions to promote innovation and sustainable economic development.
This recognition and financing will encourage us to continue innovating and improving, maintaining our commitment to excellence and sustainability in the development of solutions to care for the environment.
