The plastic decontamination process is an advanced mechanical recycling method that uses exclusively water steam and vacuum to eliminate more than 96% of odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in post-consumer plastics, without altering the polymer. It has been successfully tested on HDPE, PP, PS, LDPE, and PET.
