Óscar Pablo


Óscar Pablo holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Alicante. During his Advanced Studies Diploma in Organic Chemistry within the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, he began his full-time research career in 2008 to conduct his doctoral thesis. Throughout this period, he focused on the field of asymmetric synthesis, obtaining products of interest in both the field of medicine and phytosanitary products for agriculture. In addition to successfully scaling the process, he also conducted mechanistic studies using DFT calculations.

Óscar became an expert in the use of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, IR, and NMR, as well as in synthetic methodologies and setups. Furthermore, he gained experience in purification processes, troubleshooting, and manuscript preparation for publication in international journals. In 2013, he had the opportunity to continue his postdoctoral training at the Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ), focusing on research related to new transformations and synthesis of biologically active compounds.

    In addition to his thesis, Óscar has published multiple scientific articles, sharing the discoveries and progress made in his research.

Furthermore, Óscar also had the opportunity to work as a Senior Chemist in Industrialization and Senior Researcher at Olon S.p.a. This company specializes in the industrial production of pharmaceutical ingredients. During his tenure at Olon S.p.a, Óscar became an expert in the industrialization process of pharmaceutical ingredients and conducted innovative research in the field.

These professional experiences allowed him to acquire deep knowledge in his area of specialization and develop key skills in project management, research and development, as well as in the industrial manufacturing of pharmaceutical ingredients. Thanks to his work at Henkel AG&Co and Olon S.p.a, Óscar was able to grow professionally and become a leading figure in his field.
